The Ecotainer is a bio degradable product with all the function and usability of the polytainer but with the added benefit of being 100% bio degradable.
The Ecotainer has an indefinite shelf life and will only start to degrade when placed in landfill. Microbes are attracted to the plastic and colonise on the surface and begin to digest and break down the plastic turning into rich soil.
It is estimated that the increasing use of bio degradable plastic has already saved over 80 million pounds of landfill space in an eight year period.
